Krystal Marie Ball was born on November 24 in 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, and also a television host at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball declared that they would not be on the show, at the end of May in 2021. They wanted to start their own independent project called Breaking Points. Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on various network shows, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball is able to attribute her fascination with politics to her experiences as a mother during the 2008 presidential primaries. Furthermore, she witnessed the US presidency election during her time working in Jordan. She saw the effects the election had on the citizens of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st District of the Congressional Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 2015. In May of 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action committee working for Democratic causes.
