Carol Lee Brosseau
Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers,"" which premieres Sunday evening on Ovation the cable channel. The show focuses on their careers as art brokers who help connect collectors, artists and buyers. Four episodes were created by the pair and will be aired through the month of October. The show will premiere on Sunday, October. 4 at 7 pm Central. Ovation is home to more than 50MM subscribers supports artists through the Ovation digital arts network. They hope to be granted permission to film again soon. The people and friends I met at Baylor certainly shaped and impacted my life. Karen Pope from the Art History department. My most important classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also went with her to Chicago and Paris to study art. Her passion for art made it quite enjoyable. She also said that "Art History is like a puzzle. For us as art historians, we always keep trying to find the pieces that can be put together." I was raised in the auto industry by my dad, and had to work at the dealership in the summer. In one summer, I worked as a mechanic's assistant changing oil and brake pads.
